Vascular treatment

Coagulation of Blood Vessels

Clinical Trials

Transdermal coagulation of enlarged blood vessels

Treatment of angiodysplasia, telangiectasia, and varicose veins on the legs is a challenge since the methods currently used (cryo-destruction, sclerotherapy, surgical excision, and classic laser percutaneous coagulation) are not compelling enough and are associated with a high risk of complications.

LINLINE Medical Systems has developed a unique method for coagulating enlarged blood vessels based on creating a new chromophore inside the coagulated blood vessel, thus significantly increasing the selectivity of laser exposure. As a result, the degree of exposure to the skin pigment decreases, and it prevents the absorption of radiation by natural capillaries, significantly reducing overheating of the skin and eliminating the risk of burns and scarring.
